Fashion sites...
So I’ve always loved the lookbook.nu site,
If you havent seen it and you’re into fashion, you should definitely check it out. People from all over the world post really cool looking pictures with amazing in-style outfits. I was a bit dissapointed to see that the site is by invitation only, guess that does make sense though so that everyone doesnt go crazy with uploading pictures, and overloading the site. I really want to make some lookbook inspired pictures, if only i had a really nice outfit.
Yesterday I discovered polyvore.com. I had never previously heard of it before but it’s really good for showing compositions of outfits that consist of celebrity-inspired looks & cooridnating outfits. Also, the site makes it easy for users to create their own polyvore looks. Its easy to add different items of clothes as well as pictures to put in the background, sometimes showing where your inspiration for the outfit has come from. On the front page of the site it also keeps track of the top trends by keeping tabs on the the top tags.
My absolute favorite fashion blog is facehunter.blogspot.com
The photographer from this site goes around the world and gets the best fashion shots. He shows global trends. His photographs include unique people with all different types of fashion. I love seeing new pictures on his blog.
